Touratech QV - The new Reference in Navigation Software
You are looking for a navigation software which will satisfy all your needs? Which is adaptable to your individual requirements? TT QV 4 will read and write MapSource-compatible Maps and will directly upload them to your Garmin-GPS! Now you can take advantage of the huge range of Garmin-compatible maps available in the internet! You can also create your own maps directly in Touratech QV and upload them to your GARMIN! (Please note that original Garmin MapSource products with activation codes can be used in QV but cannot be uploaded to GPS receivers).
We have completely modified the GPS-Online-mode for a very simple off-road and street navigation! Optionally, Touratech QV will provide voice-guided navigation and will display traffic jams directly on the map screen (this will require a compatible GPS-receiver). We also implemented a touchscreen user interface for optimal comfort when navigating with a tablet-PC in your cockpit!

Product LineTouratech QV is the ideal solution for all navigation requirements. The functionality is unbeatable, particularly in countries where traditional GPS units do not offer any map material or different maps are necessary for optimum orientation. Touratech QV is also ideally suited for detailed route planning and subsequent processing of journeys (track analysis, photo album). All owners of GPS units have a clear advantage because of the simple data exchange procedure and the excellent management of their GPS data. Touratech QV comes with worldwide overview maps. QV Light Touratech QV light is ideal for anyone who doesn't need a routing function, the location database, the overview maps and the option to upload maps to a GARMIN GPS unit. However, the light version offers all essential functions at a reasonable price. No photo album, no multimap. No 3D display, no map overlay. Only available as a download from the Web shop. This version is the ideal platform for all traditional navigation tasks. Route calculations are possible using NAVTEQ maps with optional voice-guided routing capability. An extensive location database is included as well as worldwide overview maps. In addition to waypoints, tracks and routes, suitable maps can be converted to GARMIN format and transferred to the corresponding GPS units. Additional features are: photo album, map overlay, multimap with up to 3 map windows and configurable menus and window layouts. Supplied on CD with a manual or as a download version. Digital photos can be linked directly to the recorded track. In the same way Internet links with special info can be implemented and called up with a click of the mouse. Versatile Printing Functions All maps can be printed with any scale you like. You can select and move the map sections to be printed easily with the mouse. Thus it is possible to print over several pages perfectly.
NAVTEQ- and GARMIN-MapSource maps can be used as an overlay on satellite pictures or other raster maps! Using our NAVTEQ map you can easily activate or disable certain map layers like road categories, rivers, railroads or settlements.
Digital elevation models can be integrated into Touratech QV. This will not only give you the altitude information at each cursor position, you can also create true 3D views of the terrain (with or wthout map overlay). Digital elevation models are also needed for creating altitude profiles in diagrams.
The "Power User" and "Professional" versions have a comparable functionality but focus on different applications: A complete list of QV Power user functions is available here A complete list of QV Professional functions is available here The Power User version has been designed for the semi-professional user: In addition to all the functions of the standard version, the Power User offers remote and multitracking capabilities* of up to 5 vehicles via GSM, radio or satellite with integrated hardware interfaces. It is compatible with GIS and CAD systems and supports additional import and export formats. * Multitracking restricted to non-commercial applications. The professional version is reserved for commercial applications: In addition to all the features of the Power User version the Professional version offers unlimited multi-tracking capabilities including the tracking of whole vehicle fleets. By default 1 vehicle/ object can be monitored but this can be extend as much as you like by purchasing separete multitracking options. Vehicles and objects can be clearly grouped and monitored from one or more PC's. The User interface can be modified according to the specific requirements of a given application and is password protected.
Various vehicles, assets or other objects can be remotely monitored. The objects can be grouped in a vehicle table and be plotted in separate map windows. Event Manager With the event manager you can define certain events which will trigger corresponding actions like forwarding of positions via SMS, fax or e-mail. Multitrack-Replay Different vehicles can be directly compared with each other. Thus you can see exactly where a race has been won or lost.
The Roadbook editor will automatically create a roadbook from one of your routes! The distances between points will be automatically calculated! A clip of the map can automatically be inserted at each intersection! Of course, the created roadbook can be edited according to your individual preferences.
